Want to consign, but don’t have the time? Let our team do the work for you!

 

T.A.G.S. is a service that we offer to consignors who do not have the time to tag their own items for an upcoming sale.  Make consigning your items easy and hassle-free by utilizing this service.  It’s a great opportunity to clean out your craft stash and still be able to earn some extra spending money and let someone else do all the work for you.

  4. Submit an online T.A.G.S. request form

  5. Drop off your items to your tagger

  6. Receive consignor perks - early shopping passes, before we open to the public

  7. Pick up unsold items at the designated pickup time after the sale or donate your unsold items to our charity

  8. Retain 50% of your sales

  9. Collect your earnings via check by U.S. mail

 

Submit an online T.A.G.S. request form to use the tagging service.  Do not wait until the last minute to prepare your items and request the service.  This service is in high demand, and we may not have a T.A.G.S. team member available to assist you if you wait too close to sale time to request a tagger After submitting your online form, you will receive an email giving you all the pertinent information you need to use the tagging service.  A member of our T.A.G.S. team will then get in touch with you for the drop-off date of your items.  If we are not able to pair you with a T.A.G.S. team member within 2-3 days, we will contact you and let you know that you are on the waiting list.  Consignors requesting this service will be paired with a T.A.G.S. team member on a first-come, first-served basis.  You will not be paired with a T.A.G.S. team member until you are registered with the current sale and you are ready to drop off your items with a tagger.  

 

Because we receive a high volume of requests for this service, please make note of the cutoff dates listed on our sale schedule to request a tagger for the current sale.

 

Requirements of using our T.A.G.S. service:

  • The consignor must be registered with the current sale before they are paired with a T.A.G.S. team member.

  • Items must be ready to be dropped off to the tagger as soon as possible so that they have time to tag everything for the current sale.  The Consignor and the T.A.G.S. team member will work together to arrange a drop-off time for your items. 

  • The Consignor must submit a signed copy of all Consignor Agreements and T.A.G.S. Agreements either via email to info@theconsignmentconnection.com or given to the tagger when items are dropped off.

  • Items must be clean, in working condition, and neatly in boxes or totes.  Separate craft items in boxes or totes by category as much as possible. 

  • Batteries must be included with battery-operated items, and all electronic devices must be in good working condition.

  • The Consignor will pay the T.A.G.S. service fee to the T.A.G.S. team member when you drop off your items.  The Consignor and Tagger can agree to the terms of payment (cash, Venmo, etc.)  This fee covers supply costs (cardstock, ink, tape, baggies, etc.).  See our fee schedule below.  If you have enough supplies for all of your items to give to your tagger, you will receive a $5 discount off your fee. 

  • Count all of your items to make sure that you do not go over our quantity and category limits allowed.  If your item count is over the limits allowed, you may pay an additional consignor fee for the extra items to be added to your inventory.  Contact Pam Martin at info@theconsignmentconnection.com to make this arrangement.

  • If the Consignor has elected not to donate their unsold items to our selected charity, the Consignor is responsible for picking up their items at the scheduled pickup time after the close of the sale.  The tagger is not responsible for picking up your items after the sale has concluded.

 

Perks of using our T.A.G.S. service:

  • The T.A.G.S. team member will enter your items in the system and print your tags and place the tags on your items.

  • Your T.A.G.S. team member will separate your items for drop-off, store them until drop-off, transport your items to the sale, and place your items on the sales floor for you.

  • The Consignor will receive 50% commission of your sold items, the tagger receives 20%, and The Consignment Connection receives 30%.

  • Consignors using the T.A.G.S. service receive the perks of shopping early at the consignor presale times stated on our website for the current sale schedule.
